6. Online Application
When applying online or in any other digital format, the details of the applicant and the application will be gathered and processed electronically as part of our application process.
The electronic data processing adheres to the legal principles stipulated in Art.26(1)(1) of the German Data Protection Act BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88(1) of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations GDPR.
If a contract of employment is entered into after the application process, the data transferred in the course of the application will be stored in your personnel file for common organization and administration purposes whilst ensuring that legal requirements will be fulfilled.
This electronic data processing also adheres to the legal principles stipulated in Art.26(1)(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88(1) GDPR.
When rejection an application, the pertinent data uploaded or transferred will be automatically deleted by our system two months after the candidate has been informed of the rejection. However, this deletion will not be done if legal regulations, e.g. due to our obligation of evidence according to the General Equal Treatment Act AGG, require a longer storage period of up to four months or until legal proceedings have been settled.
This part of electronic data processing adheres to the legal principles stipulated in Art.6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 24(1,2) BDSG. Our justified interest is the defense and enforcement of the law.
If you expressly agree to a longer storage period for your data, for example if you would like to be added to our candidate or prospect database, your data will be further processed due to your permission. Then, this part of electronic data processing adheres to the legal principles stipulated in Art.6(1)(a) GDPR. Nevertheless, you do reserve the right to revoke your permission at any time in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR for future effect.
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
